國立宜蘭大學今年適逢百年校慶，來自各地姊妹校專程蒞臨致賀，共同歡慶此一重要里程碑。5月4日舉辦外賓歡迎晚宴，熱情接待來自日本、菲律賓、泰國、波蘭、印度等國之姊妹校及國際合作機構代表。本次活動匯聚多所國際大學重要主管與代表，共同見證本校百年發展的重要時刻，展現長期推動國際學術交流與深化全球合作之成果。

晚宴在溫馨交流氛圍中展開，安排太魯閣族傳統樂舞作為開場演出，展現原住民族文化特色與在地文化底蘊，為百年校慶系列活動增添豐富文化意涵。隨後進行貴賓介紹儀式，與會外賓涵蓋多所姊妹校校長、副校長及國際事務主管，包括日本秋田縣立大學、福岡工業大學、關東學院大學、公立千歲科學科技大學、金城學院大學、東北專門職大學，以及菲律賓德拉薩大學、泰國湄州大學、波蘭西波美拉尼亞科技大學與印度理工學院等代表，充分展現本校國際合作網絡之廣泛與多元。

本校校長於致詞中誠摯歡迎各國貴賓於百年校慶期間蒞臨，共同見證學校重要里程碑，並感謝各姊妹校長期以來合作與交流之支持與貢獻。致詞後隨即進行紀念品致贈儀式及乾杯儀式，象徵彼此情誼與合作關係持續深化，並於大合照中留下珍貴紀錄，見證百年校慶國際交流成果。

晚宴後段安排樂團現場演出，在悠揚樂聲中，與會貴賓與師長一同高歌互動，現場氣氛熱絡而融洽，交流自然且頻繁，於輕鬆愉悅的氛圍中進一步深化彼此情誼。本次百年校慶外賓歡迎晚宴，不僅展現本校接待國際賓客之能量與文化特色，也為未來持續拓展國際合作奠定堅實基礎，彰顯邁向下一個百年之國際願景。

National Ilan University is celebrating its centennial anniversary this year, and sister universities from various countries specially visited to offer congratulations, jointly marking this important milestone. On May 4, a welcome banquet for international guests was held, warmly receiving representatives from sister universities and international partner institutions from Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Poland, India, and other countries. The event brought together senior executives and representatives from many international universities to witness this important moment in the University’s 100-year development, demonstrating its long-term achievements in promoting international academic exchange and strengthening global cooperation.

The banquet began in a warm and friendly atmosphere, featuring an opening performance of traditional music and dance by the Truku Indigenous people, showcasing Taiwan’s indigenous cultural heritage and local identity, adding rich cultural significance to the centennial celebration series. This was followed by an introduction ceremony for the distinguished guests. The international attendees included presidents, vice presidents, and directors of international affairs from numerous partner institutions, such as Akita University, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Kanto Gakuin University, Chitose Institute of Science and Technology, Kinjo Gakuin University, and Tohoku Professional University in Japan; De La Salle University in the Philippines; Maejo University in Thailand; West Pomeranian University of Technology in Poland; and representatives from Indian Institutes of Technology in India, among others. This fully demonstrated the breadth and diversity of the University’s international collaboration network.

In his remarks, the University President extended a sincere welcome to all international guests for attending during the centennial celebration, expressing gratitude for the long-standing support and contributions of partner universities in collaboration and exchange. Following the speech, a souvenir presentation ceremony and a toast were held, symbolizing the deepening friendship and continued partnership among institutions. A group photo was then taken to capture this valuable moment, marking the achievements of international exchange during the centennial celebration.

In the latter part of the banquet, a live band performance was arranged. Amid the melodious music, guests and faculty members sang together and interacted warmly. The atmosphere was lively and harmonious, with frequent and natural exchanges, further deepening mutual friendships in a relaxed and joyful setting. This centennial welcome banquet for international guests not only demonstrated the University’s capacity and cultural distinctiveness in hosting international visitors, but also laid a solid foundation for future expansion of global cooperation, highlighting its vision toward the next century.
